Where This Began

Nancy Brici is a wife and mother who never thought that, at the age of thirty-six, she would find herself longing to be educated through the embodiment of the whole being of the person she is.

It began when God placed a little one into her hands and impressed these words upon her heart:

“I have entrusted you to care for him until I call you home—or him.”

She understood then that this was her mission—her mission field.

She never imagined that home education would be part of that calling, but through seasons of moving, it became the path set before her. Along the way, Nancy came upon Charlotte Mason, whose philosophy breathed life into her soul. From that moment, an education within herself began—one that gently led her further along the path of classical education.

Now, she continues in that quiet work—learning, growing, and gathering—ready to share with other mothers who long and thirst for a deeper education within themselves, that it might gently overflow into the lives of the dear souls entrusted to them.

Nancy has walked through many fields in her life, yet as the years have gone on, her soul has grown in its longing for stillness within them. Home education—and the desire to educate the whole of her being as a person God has given life to—has become the beginning of these fields of stillness. It is a quiet work, often unseen, where humility becomes the way.

And so, she continues—learning, living, and tending to what has been placed within her hands.

And if your heart finds itself stirred in the same way, you are welcome here—to linger, to learn, and to walk in this quiet work together.

“It’s amazing how lovely common things become, if one only knows how to look at them.” - Louisa M. Alcott
